Wrist Wraps and Lifting Straps for Weightlifting
Tribe Lifting wrist wraps and lifting straps are made for lifters who want wrist support and grip assistance in one compact gym set.
Use the 21" wrist wraps for pressing movements like bench press, overhead press, and push-focused training where wrist position matters. Use the 24" lifting straps for pulling movements like deadlifts, rows, shrugs, and pull-ups when your grip starts to limit the set.
This is a practical combo for strength training, bodybuilding, powerlifting-style gym work, and heavy accessory lifts. It is not a medical wrist brace, Figure 8 deadlift strap, or Olympic quick-release strap. It is a general weightlifting set built around reinforced nylon, secure hook-and-loop closures, silicone grip threading, and padded comfort.
Grip help for pulling
24" lifting straps wrap around the bar to help reduce grip fatigue during deadlifts, rows, shrugs, and pull-ups.
Wrist support for pressing
21" wrist wraps help stabilize your wrist position during bench press, overhead press, and push-focused lifts.
Silicone grip threading
Textured silicone on the straps helps improve bar contact without needing bulky hooks or grips.
Reinforced gym build
Heavy-duty nylon, reinforced stitching, padding, and hook-and-loop closures are made for regular strength training.
What is included in this wrist wraps and lifting straps set? +
Each set includes one pair of 21" wrist wraps and one pair of 24" lifting straps. The wrist wraps are made for wrist support during pressing movements, while the lifting straps are made to help your grip during pulling exercises.
What are wrist wraps used for? +
Wrist wraps are used to support your wrist position during pressing movements such as bench press, overhead press, push press, and other lifts where the wrist can bend back under load. They do not improve grip. Their main job is wrist support.
What are lifting straps used for? +
Lifting straps help connect your hands to a barbell, dumbbell, or pull-up bar during pulling movements. They are useful for deadlifts, rows, shrugs, pull-ups, and other exercises where grip fatigue can limit your working muscles.
What is the difference between wrist wraps and lifting straps? +
Wrist wraps support the wrist joint during pressing exercises. Lifting straps assist your grip during pulling exercises. They look similar, but they solve different problems, so this set includes both.
Are these good for powerlifting, bodybuilding, or CrossFit? +
They work well for general strength training, bodybuilding, powerlifting-style gym lifts, and high-intensity workouts. Use the wrist wraps for heavy presses and the lifting straps for heavy pulls. For strict Olympic weightlifting, dedicated short quick-release Olympic straps may be more appropriate.
Are these Olympic lifting straps or Figure 8 straps? +
No. These are standard lifting straps paired with wrist wraps. Olympic straps are usually shorter and designed for quick release during snatches and cleans. Figure 8 straps are usually used for maximal deadlifts and strongman-style pulling. Tribe Lifting straps are better positioned as versatile gym lifting straps for rows, deadlifts, shrugs, pull-ups, and general strength work.
How do I use the lifting straps? +
Slide your hand through the strap loop, place your hand on the bar, wrap the loose end around the bar, then rotate the bar slightly to tighten the strap before lifting. Use them mainly when grip fatigue is limiting your pulling sets.
How do I use the wrist wraps? +
Place the wrap around the wrist so it covers the wrist joint and the lower part of the hand, then secure it with the hook-and-loop closure. It should feel supportive but not so tight that it causes numbness or pain.
How should I care for wrist wraps and lifting straps? +
Let them dry after training, keep them away from excess moisture and heat, and store them in your gym bag only after they are dry. Replace the set if you see fraying, weak stitching, worn closures, or damaged silicone grip areas.
